Mark L. Shapiro, and his team of dedicated personal injury lawyers have secured life-changing settlements for countless Floridians. Now, our firm is proud to launch the inaugural year of the Marc L. Shapiro Justice Scholarship. This scholarship aims to support aspiring legal professionals and students passionate about justice, advocacy, and making a positive impact in their communities, and to do our part to develop the next generation of legal champions.

Scholarships aren’t strictly about financial assistance, although that is a big part. They are about realizing your potential and demonstrating your passion. It’s about a free society’s belief in the power of justice. We’re looking for students who share this believe and who demonstrate the critical thinking skills, unwavering dedication and tenacity that lead to a successful legal career.

Scholarship Details:

Award Amount:
- First Place: $1,000
- Second Place: $500
Application Deadline: May 31st annually
Winner Announcement: July 15th

Eligibility Criteria:

High school seniors or college students (undergraduate, or graduate) planning to pursue or currently pursuing a degree in pre-law, law, criminal justice, or a related field. US residents or students attending a US based institution. Minimum GPA of 3.0.

Complete the online application form below.
Submit a 500-750 word essay on: “How Do You Plan to Use Your Legal Education to Impact Your Community in a Positive Way?”
Provide:
- One letter of recommendation from a teacher, professor, or community leader.
