C. Randall Austin, Esq.
(Charles) C. “Randall” Austin, Esq. was born in Wheeling, West Virginia in 1960. Randall was educated at West Virginia University (WVU) in Accounting/Business and received his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center. Randall has lived in Florida for over 35 years — having first moved to South Florida in 1984. Randall moved to Naples from Parkland, FL (where he lived for the past 20 years).
Randall has been practicing law for over 30 years as admitted by the Supreme Court of the State of Florida to the Florida Bar. Just one year out of law school, Randall started his own law firm with a partner and acquired early success as a litigator representing clients from a diverse spectrum of industries including local and international clients. Over the years, his trial success brought him even more recognition and complex cases involving torts, medical malpractice, Federal torts (a case against USPS in a publicized Miami Beach Post Office shooting), product liability cases (involving an airbag malfunction case against Mercedes Benz), doctor’s insurance disability cases and various cases in tort-related fields.
In 1993 Randall was admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and in 2002, he was admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals Eleventh Circuit where he won appellate cases upholding his history of trial victories. His success as a civil litigator is supported by a track record of awards, victories at trial, and noteworthy speaking engagements on Tort and Corporate liability, Construction Lien Litigation Law Seminars and, for international clients, cases on Immigration law.
As a lawyer, Randall is most-devoted and passionate about Personal Injury law and is a keen advocate of what he describes as his client-focused mantra of “putting the personal back in Personal Injury.” As a family man, Randall is devoted to his wife Ana Bolena (Meza) Austin, a famous Colombian actress and celebrity, and his 16-year-old son Charles who is studying at a private school where both Randall and his own father attended in West Virginia.
Randall enjoys playing drums (since age 2), piano, and sports — having played football in college and coached recreational sports for kids. Randall is practicing Spanish and Portuguese; he is interested in Germanistik and the German language (having studied German since third grade). He enjoys golfing, exercise, and an occasional cigar. Randall and his wife (and three cats) are now most happy looking forward to their new life and home in Naples, FL for many years to come.
