COVID-19 and Our Commitment to Clients, Employees, and Southwest Florida
TO OUR COMMUNITY
The Law Offices of Marc L. Shapiro, P.A. will remain OPEN during this time of uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 global pandemic. We are committed to our clients, employees, and local communities. During this time, we need to bring out the best in us and others, especially in our local community of Naples, Fort Myers, and all of Southwest Florida.
We have committed $10,000 in gift cards to support locally-owned restaurants and/or bars that have had to shut down or terminate part of their workforce because of COVID-19. We are purchasing these gift cards to help families in Southwest Florida and also support our local businesses in Naples and Fort Myers, Florida. We are encouraging other professional services and businesses to support our community in this time of need and uncertainty. We will be providing these gift cards to first responders and their families. We encourage all of our local businesses and individuals who are able to join our efforts to do the same.
- We will assist locally owned restaurants who may be in jeopardy of going out of business due to the forced closures. We are doing so by purchasing gift cards from any such restaurant if they are still open for delivery and/or carry out.
- We will assist families who have school-age children that have been adversely impacted by school closures. Specifically, if the family depended on school lunch programs in order to get their children a good meal, and now they have difficulties feeding them, we are sending some of the gift cards that we purchased from the restaurants.
- We would like to to ease the burden of our first responders such as doctors, nurses, police officers, hospital staff and the like by providing them with a hot meal.
